About the Parade
The Gawler Christmas Parade returned to Murray St in 2023 with the drive and passion for community from former MP for Light, Tony Piccolo. In 2025, the Parade was organised by a dedicated group of volunteers through the Rotary Club of Gawler Light.
In 2026, the Rotary Club is bringing it back again!
Enjoy the twilight markets from the Gawler Apex Club, join the festive cheer as the magic of decorated floats make their way up and back down Murray St and finally, be there as the lights are switched on for the Riverbank Christmas Display.
It's going to be magical.
What is the Rotary Club of Gawler Light?
The Rotary Club of Gawler Light is an active community service group, bringing together local people to take action in bettering the world through humanitarian service. We are local business leaders and community leaders who believe that no single action is too small, and no great idea is too big.
You'll find us out in the community helping local organisations like the Gawler Central Football Club, the Town of Gawler and Gawler & District College. Rotary is also about supporting young people in their journeys of leadership - be it through Interact at school, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, the Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment, the One & All Youth Sailing Challenge, Youth Exchange, National Youth Science Forum and so much more....

Event Schedule
Like previous years, the parade will begin in the early evening, with the exact timing yet to be announced. We recommend arriving early to secure a great viewing spot along the route.
